Over the past few months I have wanted to grab one of these pastries. For some reason I didn’t get out of bed in time. You may be wondering, why would that be an issue? Well, these danishes sell out pretty fast in the am times. With Covid and lots of local favorite shops being shut down, I knew this treat would remind me of summer. I knew I just needed to treat myself. The lie that ‘this isn’t good for me’ had to go. I wasn’t going to gain 5 lbs. I had an opportunity to bring goodness into my day. I chose goodness.

A year ago I was debuting my card collection line

A year ago I was debuting my card collection line to retailers from around the country! The mom and pop shops to the big companies that y’all would recognize. I started building relationships with an amazing stationery community. @stationeryshow NSS @javitscenter in downtown Manhattan. What a beautiful whirlwind prepping product, card catalogues, company promotional materials, and packing it all up for NYC!!!! I had ALWAYS wanted to exhibit at this show. Dreams came true when I landed in this very spot pictured. I made it. BUT it was just the beginning. This year I had hoped to have gone back, exhibited a full booth, take in new orders, making more connections, and having enough money to get a hotel stay. 💙 But sometimes when the world is spinning in a different direction, all we can do is be grateful for the roots planted. I will be back. So today, I say thank you to ALLLLLL the wonderful retailers and new stationary pals! I don’t know what I would do without y’all! Now go shop their collections!!!!
